PROMOTIONAL GIVEAWAY RULES
Prize for Purpose is committed to supporting various charitable causes. In appreciation of our community's generosity, we conduct Free Promotional Giveaways, rewarding a participant from each campaign with a special gift.
Eligibility and Participation:
- Donation-Based Participation: Individuals who contribute to a specific campaign by making a donation are automatically eligible and entered to participate in the Free Promotional Giveaway.
- Alternative Method of Entry:
- Essay and Volunteering Submission: As an alternative to donation-based entry, participants can submit an essay detailing the importance of the charity the giveaway is supporting. This essay should be accompanied by ten original images showing the participant volunteering for the charity in question.
- One Chance Per Draw: Each participant can submit one essay and set of images per giveaway campaign for a single chance to answer the skill-testing question.
- Unique Submissions Required: Each giveaway campaign requires new, unique images; previously submitted images will not qualify for subsequent draws.
- Submission Method: Entries must be submitted by email to info@prizeforpurpose.com and must include the Campaign Code, the Entrant's full name and the Entrant's address.
- Skill-Testing Question: Upon submission, participants will be provided with a skill-testing question. Correctly answering this question is necessary to win the giveaway. Prize for Purpose reserves the right to select a new winner if the skill testing question is not answered correctly.
- General Eligibility: This giveaway is open to legal residents of Canada, excluding Quebec, who are the age of majority in their province or territory. Employees of Prize for Purpose are not eligible.
Giveaway Procedure:
- Selection Process: Following the campaign's conclusion, one participant will be randomly selected from the pool of eligible entries.
- Announcement: The selected recipient will be announced via email and, if applicable, on our social media platforms and blog.
- Gift Collection: Details regarding the collection or delivery of the gift will be communicated directly to the recipient.
General Terms and Conditions:
- Privacy and Use of Materials: Submitted essays and images may be used by Prize for Purpose for promotional purposes. Participants names and likeness may be used to advertise the winner of each giveaway. Participants agree to this use by entering the giveaway.
- Liability: Entrants agree to release Prize for Purpose from any claims arising out of participation in the giveaway or the receipt/use of any gift.
- Applicable Laws: This event is subject to all federal, provincial, and municipal laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.
- Alteration of Terms: Prize for Purpose reserves the right to modify these rules at any time without prior notice.
- Dispute Resolution: Any disputes shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta.
